AUGUST 2020 NEWSLETTER
We just finished the 7th Week of Chautauqua’s 2020 Season, and AAHH’s fifth speaker! But that’s not all we’ve been doing! AAHH has been in the Chautauquan Daily, the Chautauqua Grapevine, extensive social media and the topic of many porch meetings as some of us have enjoyed the in-person experience at Chautauqua!
The online Chautauqua platform, CHQ Assembly, has done well. And we can report that the AAHH has enhanced that experience as well.
Here is a quick overview of our speakers.
EXCITING NEWS FROM AAHH !!
AAHH has indeed helped inspire conversations with Chautauqua's audience to showcase and engage the “best of human values” in 2020.
A mid-2020 record of individuals’ thoughts on racism.
Chautauqua Institution and AAHH initiated the Mirror Project, an opportunity to create a comprehensive discussion to be followed with dynamic recorded interviews with prominent thinkers who have “lived” experience.
Chautauqua Institution, AAHH announce the CHQ Mirror Project (Chautauquan Daily).

Then, for sure, see the also recent interview by Erroll Davis of Rev Dr. Robert Franklin, Morehouse College President Emeritus.
As if that weren’t all, our President Erroll Davis has been busy receiving significant grants and support!
First, Union Pacific Corporation, in honor of Erroll’s years of service on their board, made an unrestricted grant sufficient to underwrite an entire season of speakers!
Then, Detroit Public Television (DPTV) helped to publicize AAHH’s Chautauqua programming - specifically Meria Carstarphen’s talk on public education - among their 30,000 subscribers!
Additional cash grants have been received throughout the Season as well.
Thank you all for your support!
